Resolve Outlook Issues where end users are reporting:
• Missing shared calendar events.
• Moved shared calendar events reverting back to where they original we scheduled for.
• Deleted shared calendar event reappear randomly within the calendar.
• Duplicate calendar events appearing in the shared calendar.
Solution adjust the cached/uncached mode of the end users Microsoft Outlook Calendars
The end result is to adjust the user primary and shared calendars. The end users primary local calendar should be set to cached mode and all the shared calendars the end user has access to should be set to uncached mode. This adjustment is made with the users E-mail account/Account settings
Accessing the E-mail accounts/account settings.
There is more than one method of access to the needed area. The below is the method through the Outlook application.

Within Outlook select “File”

Next select “Account Settings”

Next select “Account Settings”

In the “Account Settings: Dialogue box, select the “Data Files” tab and then double click on the desired account.

In the “Microsoft Exchange” dialogue box, Uncheck the “Download shared folders” option.
Select “Apply”, then “OK” buttons. Then close any other dialogue boxes.
Then restart Outlook.
